The long hiatus on Hirano Aya's normally very active blog is now explained. She has just posted that she has spent the last six days in hospital, for her appendix.
"Sorry for keeping you waiting so long. I apologize for not being able to update the blog. Actually, I have just spent six days in hospital, for my appendix! But now I'm healthy and happy and out of hospital! I've got lots of strength and am getting right back to work! Don't worry about me at all! Let's get together at the Sumomo event next week!"
Aya is scheduled to take part in the open recording of a Sumomo Radio show on the Sunday after next.

When you think about, do you really think Hirano Aya would waste her time reading posts from there? I think she would be too busy to even bother going there.
@anonymous -- Good point. I suspect VAs avoid 2channel for the sake of their mental health, as well. But it hardly takes any time to look at it, and it could easily be part of market research, even for the commodity herself. So I still fear she sees it -- and sees that the antis are all saying that she was in the hospital for an abortion, rather than her appendix. They really seem to be the lowest of the low. There are people posting against them, but a small band of antis can really ruin a thread.
Wow...I'd have never though 2channel antis would actually be that degrading...oh wait, it's 2channel.
You never know, it's likely she really has read the comments. However, everybody has to deal with critcism, so even if she sees it, I'd think she could take it as well as any criticism that's been said about her anyways.
doesn't seem like she's been affected by it. with her most recent blog posts, there's no mention of any sadness or comments about those infamous remarks against her. then again, who knows if she read it or not except for the person herself.
i bet you with her next single she's really going to get known and will have a bigger fanbase instead of just the anime fans. seems like they're trying to get into the main stream market with her upgraded look and all for the jacket cover of her single.
