Earthquake: Seiyuus Still Not Heard From

Yuuki Aoi is safe. She posted in her blog apologizing for worrying people and said she "somehow" got home. She thanked the people who helped and encouraged her.

This sounds like she was one of the "return-home refugees" who had to walk or otherwise make their way home from downtown Tokyo with the trains not running.

Ao-chan's 2channel thread has been boiling with concern, adding over 200 posts in the past twelve hours. Some posters said that they cried when they learned she was okay.

Some of the major names still not heard from: Kugimiya Rie (now confirmed safe), Wakamoto Norio, Koyama Rikiya, Itou Miki, Omigawa Chiaki, Kobayashi Sanae, Yajima Akiko. (I'll cross names out as I learn the people named are okay.)

Kobayashi Yuu apologizes for taking a while to let people know she was okay, but she was trying to contact her own relatives. This weekend was supposed to be her fan club bus tour: two days and a night at a Chiba waterfront hotel. Needless to say, waterfront hotels are closed, and the trip has been suspended.

Still no word from Yuuki Aoi, to the dismay of fans posting in her 2channel thread. Chiba, where she comes from and probably still lives, was not one of the hardest hit areas, but was hit somewhat.

New Seiyuu Group: Hanazawa, Hikasa, Iguchi, Ogura, Hidaka

For the anime Ro-Kyu-Bu, which will come out later this year, a new singing group of seiyuus has formed: Hanazawa Kana, Hikasa Youko, Iguchi Yuka, Ogura Yui, and Hidaka Rina.

Hikasa Youko is the only one of those whom I know to be a good singer, but their look may make up for any other weaknesses:

Ro-Kyu-Bu is a series of light novels that started in 2009 and won Dengeki's novel award. The story is about a high-school boy (Kaji Yuuki) who becomes the coach of an elementary-school girls' basketball club.

Last Exile: Toyosaki Aki, Yuuki Aoi to Star in New Series

The new Last Exile series -- Ginyoku no Fam ("Silverwing Fam") -- now has a cast:
