We continue to get proof that Yuuki Aoi really is the game otaku she claims to be. This time, appearing on Sugita Tomokazu and Nakamura Yuuichi's game-centred TV show Tokyo Encounter, she beats them both at Sonic Adventure 2.
Later, however, they bring out Left 4 Dead, and she doesn't do so well. When they suggest the game, she looks at it dubiously and asks: "Is it cute?" Yes, yes, it's cute, says Sugita. Lol. Cute if you find blood and gore cute.
In this video, a five-minute clip from the show, we first see her laughing uproariously at everyone's plush animal suits. The show was recorded just before Christmas.
Later, she mentions that her father is good at games, and describes him as "like a monk [i.e., shaved-headed], macho, and dark-skinned" and says his face looks like hers. The two guys find it difficult to imagine. Ao-chan's father is an executive with a game company, probably Capcom.
I love how into it Ao-chan seems, and how boyish she is, like a twelve-year-old playing enthusiastically with his friends, boasting of his successes. My own guess is that this is the (or at least a) real Ao-chan.
